Chiara is an editor and award-winning arts, culture and lifestyle journalist.

I’m Scottish and based in London. I currently work as ELLE UK’s Deputy Multiplatform Editor, where I have a particular focus on culture and lifestyle content.

I previously worked as ArtReview’s Senior Digital Editor, where I led on strategy and commissioned arts-focussed content across site, social and other digital platforms. I also worked at Time Out for four years, most recently as Deputy Editor, where I commissioned features, interviewed cover stars and created compelling social content. For my work at Time Out, I was selected as one of the PPA’s 30 Under 30 winners and was shortlisted for Best Features Writer at the BSME Talent Awards.

In a freelance capacity, I’ve written for titles including The Guardian, The Observer, Vogue, Vice and Dazed – and worked with brands like Selfridges, Uber Eats and Sky. I’ve hosted talks, appeared as an expert voice on podcasts and BBC radio and been a nominator for the BRITs Rising Star award.

I’ve written everything from celebrity profiles to cultural trend reports, comment pieces, restaurant reviews and long-read investigations.
